A pirate has sailed into a primary school in Clevedon to meet pupils.
Captain Barnacle visited All Saints Primary School to chat to youngsters about what life is like as a pirate out at sea.
He also allowed the children to explore some of his equipment including fake swords, guns and a treasure chest.
Continuing the theme, pupils were also allowed to attend school dressed as a pirate later in the week.
