SWASHBUCKLING pirates took over the class at a Nailsea school as pupils held a pirates day.
Reception children at Golden Valley Primary School celebrated their first full-time week at school by dressing up as sea-faring villains, playing party games, singing pirate songs, drawing treasure maps and investigating a treasure chest. Later in the term the children will explore the surroundings of their new school.
