Two Nailsea School pupils have been crowned sports personality of the year for their achievements on the field.
Joe Collins was named sportsman of the year and Megan Walker won the title of sportswoman after being voted for by students and teachers.
The winners were revealed at a ceremony at DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House in Congresbury, which included a quiz, a meal and a question and answer session with Bristol Rugby player Nick Carpenter.
Awards for players’ player, manager’s player and most improved player were also handed out to people from each year group on the night.
The event recognises the hard work, focus and dedication of the students throughout the year.
