The pressures and stress of GCSE examinations was put to one side as year 11 students enjoyed their end-of-year prom.

Clevedon School teenagers dressed up in smart suits and gorgeous dresses on July 4 ahead of a well-deserved night of glitz and glamour.

The students met at the school in the bright sunshine before getting transported to one of North Somerset’s most picturesque venue.

Their prom was held at DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House in Congresbury where they got to enjoy entertaining music and a tasty meal.

The pupils now can have a relaxing few weeks over the summer ahead of their GCSE exam results being announced on August 24. They will hope to have done enough to secure places at college, sixth form and apprenticeships going forward.
