TEENAGERS in North Somerset put on their glad rags to mark the end of exams with glamorous proms.
Year 13 pupils from Gordano School gathered at the Portishead school on Thursday evening before travelling to Ashton Court Mansion. The leavers’ ball was attended by 129 students, all enjoying a sit-down meal, an awards presentation, a fireworks display, live band and disco.
On June 29, Clevedon School’s year 11 pupils gathered at their school before going to their prom at the Congresbury hotel, Doubletree by Hilton Cadbury House, where they enjoyed a buffet, disco and fireworks.
Year 11 pupils from St Katherine’s School in Pill arrived at Ashton Court Mansion in style for their prom also on June 29, with classic cars, HGVs, sports car and even a double-decker bus used as transport. The evening included a welcome drink, buffet and DJ.
