GLAMOUROUS teenagers stepped out Hollywood style as Gordano School in Portishead kicked off the prom season.
Rain failed to dampen the spirits of the year 11 students as they headed for their prom night at the Webbington Hotel, marking the end of school as they have known it.
The glamorous dresses, suits and spectacular hair styles were a far cry from the fancy dress costumes worn by the youngsters earlier in the day as they celebrated their past five years at Gordano on what was likely to be the final day they would all be together.
The pupils will now begin sitting their GCSE finals.
