Kingshill Church School is delighted to have been rated outstanding after a recent inspection.
The school, in Pound Lane, was given top marks for its Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools.
The report noted the impact of Christian character on the learning and development of children.
It also highlighted the strong links between Christian values and other aspects of school life and rapid improvements in academic attainment.
The school was rated good by Ofsted in January.
