A ‘fun and relaxed’ setting for children to enjoy some outdoor play in all weathers has been unveiled at a nursery in Nailsea.

Golden Valley House has opened a new forest play cabin, a creation of family play garden designer Sue Fitton, who says her cabins are proving popular with other families too.

Sue said: “I was looking for a way that helped parents give their children more fresh air and connection with nature.

“Creating the play cabin gave me a way to do this in a fun, relaxed setting, while offering a new option to parents worried about too much screen time.

“The calm, peaceful feel helps children unwind from stresses and anxieties. Not only for the kids, parents like using it as a bolt-hole for a glass of wine as well.”
