Snail racing and making fruit kebabs are just two of the fun activities children in Portishead have been enjoying.
Youngsters aged three and four at Trinity Nursery School in Marjoram Way, which still has spaces available, made the kebabs after hearing the story of Handa’s Surprise in which the wild animals eat fresh fruit. The snail racing, which sees them race in circles, was put on as part of the children’s outdoor adventures which also included bug hunting and making mud pies.
