A number of schools will be partially closed tomorrow (Tuesday) as teachers in North Somerset go on strike.

Backwell School will be closed to years eight and nine, St Katherine’s School in Pill is closed to year nine and 10 and Wraxall Primary School is only open for reception pupils.

Golden Valley Primary School in Nailsea and St Joseph’s Primary School in Portishead are partially open, but some classes will be affected.

Meanwhile, St Andrew’s Primary School in Congresbury will make a ‘last-minute decision’ but recommends parents expect the school to be open, unless they hear otherwise.

Parents are advised to contact their child’s school to find out details about closures.
