Dinosaurs have taken centre stage during a Clevedon nursery school concert.

Children at Clevedon Montessori Nursery School, in Albert Road, dressed up as prehistoric creatures for a performance of Night Of The Dinosaurs.

Talented performers also played percussion instruments and recited their own Space Rocket Rap during the successful show.

Dozens of guests attended and were able to enjoy a picnic in the community centre’s grounds after the show.

A school spokesman said: “Parents, grandparents and friends were invited to the concert at Clevedon Community Centre.

“Around 100 people attended and a picnic was held in the garden at the centre following the concert.”

The nursery school’s concerts are annual events with last year’s covering Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation alongside poems, jokes and songs.

Clevedon Montessori Nursery School was awarded an outstanding rating by Ofsted in September last year.
