Musical pupils drum up some tunes

THE sound of drumming filled a Backwell school as pupils enjoyed a steel band workshop.

Children from Backwell Junior School were given the chance to try out some new instruments during music lessons.

Pupils learnt about the different instruments before having a go at some rhythms and simple tunes.

The youngsters enjoyed testing out their skills and playing some different music.
