The roof was raised at Mary Elton Primary School as year three and four pupils took part in a music festival.
The theme of Word’s Up was based around English, spelling and grammar.
Children got to dress up as characters from songs and made punctuation hats, posters or T-shirts.
Pupils from All Saints and St John’s primary schools also got involved.
