Young primary school pupils from Nailsea held a Mother’s Day assembly on Friday morning.
Reception children from St Francis Primary School led the celebrations and impressed their watching parents by taking centre stage.
A school spokesman said: “They worked very hard to prepare it and did a marvellous job.
“There were lots of very proud mummies in the audience.
“The Friends’ of St Francis then held a Mother’s Day sale so that the children could buy their mothers a small gift.”
