FILMS, magazines and photographs impressed visitors and judges at Nailsea School’s media and photography showcase.
The event celebrated the achievements of the school’s photography students as well as GCSE and A-level work in websites, print media and film.
Nailsea School is a specialist in technology and media arts and visitors were able to browse the students’ print media and websites before attending a screening of film work.
Work was judged by the audience as well as several professionals in the publishing, photography, advertising and film industry.
Karen Beland, a programme maker for the BBC, Channel 5 and US broadcasters, said: “The standard of work was really impressive.
“In all honesty, some of those students would give directors working in the industry right now a real run for their money. It bodes well for the future of the TV and film industry.”
