PORTISHEAD schoolchildren learnt about beach safety and rescue on a visit to the Portishead lifeboat facility.
Year four students from St Joseph’s Primary School explored the boat and the crew’s equipment as they heard about the dangers of sinking mud and the fast incoming tide around Portishead.
