Bristol City Football Club star, Jonathan Kodjia, has been helping Pill students speak French.
The French striker visited St Katherine’s School’s modern foreign languages faculty where he spent time chatting with pupils in his native tongue.
Geraldine Maringo, head of the faculty, said: “Jonathan has given students a wonderful incentive to practise their French conversation.
“Students were really keen to speak with him.”
