A team of girls from High Down Junior School took part in a Kwik Cricket competition against other school pupils from across North Somerset.
Despite a few nerves, the girls from the Portishead school won their first three matches before going on to beat St Joseph’s Primary School in the semi-final and then winning the final against St Anne’s Primary School.
