NIFTY knitters have been creating toys as part of an after school club in Portbury.
A group of pupils at St Mary’s Primary School gather each week for a knit and a natter.
In the past they have made squares which were compiled into blankets and sent to South Africa and some more advanced knitters have made owls.
This term, every pupil is making knitted toys.
