STAFF and pupils at a Nailsea school are celebrating after being rated good with outstanding features by Ofsted.
Kingshill Church School was reported to be ‘a vibrant and successful learning community’ and the senior leadership was rated as ‘outstanding’.
The report states: “Kingshill Church School is a good, and rapidly improving school where the pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development and their academic progress are promoted equally successfully.”
Teaching was marked as good with outstanding elements and the school’s behaviour and safety was judged to be oustanding.
Headteacher Jan Thomson praised the commitment of children, staff and governors over the past two years. She said: “I am so proud of Kingshill Church School. The children, staff and governors have worked tirelessly to achieve this well-deserved result.”
