KINGS and queens filled the classrooms at a Nailsea school as part of a class project.
Children at Golden Valley Primary School have been learning about the British monarchy and on May 4 had the chance to dress as a king or queen for the day.
Each year group has studied the life and times of a different monarch, from Henry VIII to Elizabeth II, taking part in activities including portrait painting, studying old coins, completing challenges about the life of a monarch and studying artefacts.
