Young historians were given a taste of life during the early modern ages when a school hosted an Anglo-Saxon day.
Pupils from Court de Wyck Primary School in Claverham dressed up in Anglo-Saxon-themed clothing for the day.
The pupils learned about the traditions, behaviour and customs of people during the 600-year period, which lasted from the year 410 to 1066.
They also took part in a range of activities, including archery and jousting, in order to get a feeling of what a typical day in the Anglo-Saxon era was like.
