A HANDS-ON look at technology gave Nailsea School pupils an exciting insight into the world of science and engineering.
The school, which is a specialist in technology and media arts, held its annual Technology and Enterprise Evening on Thursday with companies including engineering giant Rolls Royce and construction material business Saint Gobain exhibiting.
Parents were also invited to the event, which gave visitors the chance to programme a robot, play with lasers, learn about turbines and build a bridge.
Students’ enterprising skills were also put on show, with year 10 textile students holding a fashion show of outfits they had created and year 12 students showcasing their hand-made bags.
