Year three pupils at Trinity Primary School welcomed visitors from the past who taught them about life in Britain before the Romans invaded.
Weaving, making baskets and using willow were among the activities enjoyed by the Portishead children.
They also learnt about a range of different artefacts, ranging from pottery to jewellery and tools to weapons.
Pupils also got to dress up as they enjoyed the day’s learning.
