High Down Primary School’s football team has advanced to a regional tournament in Bridgwater, after finishing second in the North Somerset competition.
The Portishead school’s team won their group, with Ellie scoring a double hat-trick.
They went on to beat Crockerne Primary School before losing 1-0 to Portishead Primary School.
Teacher Del Shayler praised the girls’ commitment and hard work.
