Bristol Grammar School held a cross-country event in which High Down School Junior School was represented by 24 pupils.
The tough course meant it was a real challenge but the youngsters from Portishead excelled.
The year six girls’ team managed to win the silver medal in the level two event.
PE teacher Del Shayler said: “We wish those running in the level three event all the best. Well done to you all.”
