Heroes from the world of sport, film and comic books were out in force in Pill this week.

Crockerne Primary School in Westward Drive invited pupils to attend school dressed as some of their heroes to raise money for Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC).

Youngsters enjoyed the opportunity to don outfits worn by characters including Ironman and Batman, as well as a variety of icons from the world of football and rugby.

A grand total of £160 was raised on the day for GWAAC.
