Hats for homeless refugees
PUBLISHED: 12:00 15 October 2015
Generous children from Nailsea filled their hats with change to raise money for homeless refugees.
St Francis Primary School held its annual harvest giving service in aid of charities supporting refugees this year.
Children turned up to school in their own clothes and took along their hats full of small change.
Some of the older pupils ran stalls and games in aid of the cause and parents held a cake sale.
Tents were set up in the school field for the children to sit in during story time, so they could find out more about the plight of homeless families.
