NAILSEA School has been given a good rating by Ofsted inspectors.
The school in Mizzymead Road was graded good or outstanding in 30 different categories.
In the report, Ofsted inspector Ken Bush stated: “Nailsea is a good school which has made steady and notable improvement since the previous inspection.
“Under the leadership of a strong and committed headteacher, staff and students have risen to the challenge and successfully increased rates of progress and improved achievement.”
Chair of governors, Sally-Ann Hancock, said: “To achieve such a positive report shows that this is what the school is really like, and we are very proud of the staff and students.”
