Talented students from Nailsea School scooped an award on an Airbus industrial cadet programme.
The 12 girls were tasked with creating a smart school environment in model form. The 10-week project was designed to inspire an interest in engineering and the students impressed industry experts and peers with their proposal.
The Nailsea team won the pupils’ choice award while Badminton School won overall.
