Year six girls at Portishead Primary School have been crowned the best in Somerset after winning a football tournament in Bridgwater.
Four wins and a draw in the group stage of the Somerset County Finals put the team into the semi-finals.
A 4-0 victory in the last four saw the girls safely through to the final where they faced Tatworth School. In a tight affair, Katie’s goal in the final stages of extra-time saw the winner’s shield heading to Portishead.
