Firefighters visit young pupils

RECEPTION pupils learnt about the role of firefighters during a special class visit.

Husband and wife, Marcus and Lucy Stratton, took time out to talk to youngsters at Crockerne Primary School in Pill about their jobs as firefighters.

As well as learning how to contact the fire brigade, the children had the chance to try on a uniform and were taught about fire safety in the home.
