Film stars in the making

SHORT films were shown to staff and pupils during the 2nd annual Clevedon Academy Awards.

The four house teams at Clevedon School made their own original shorts which were then rated by 35 academy judges before 10 awards were given out.

Conygar House won the best picture accolade for its silent thriller, The Martial Artist. Best director went to Valley house’s Oliva Ashford and the best visual effects award was given to Adam English of Walton house.

Rob Jones and Lucy Harris, both of Marine house, won the best actor and actress awards.
