BACKWELL School was buzzing with festive spirit as visitors enjoyed its Christmas fair.

Backwell School Association put on the festive shopping event which also boasted a Santa’s grotto, carol singing, mince pies and mulled wine.

The fair raised more than £2,000 for school funds which will pay for more resources and equipment for students, including a new minibus.
