Favourite characters come to life

SPONGEBOB Square Pants, witches and Alice and Wonderland turned up to lessons in Backwell as pupils dressed up as their favourite book characters.
Children from Backwell Junior School celebrated Book Week with a visit from an author and their teachers brought in their favourite stories to read during lessons.
Pupils also donated a book or money to the school’s library.
