Excited students dressed in their ball gowns and tuxedos ready to party the night away at their school prom.
Year 13 pupils from Nailsea School made their way to Leigh Court country house in fancy cars and limousines. The leavers’ ball in Abbots Leigh was organised by sixth formers Alex Geaney and George Willis and students enjoyed saying a final farewell to their peers before heading off to jobs, university and gap years. The teenagers danced until late and chatted in the picturesque grounds of the grade II* listed building.
Head of sixth form Jon Reddiford said: “They have been a great year group and will be missed by staff and students at the school.”
* A gallery of pictures from the year 11 ball will be put on the Times website tomorrow (Thursday).
