The world of make believe took centre stage in Claverham.
Youngsters at the village book group event were treated to an unusual performance of a classic fairytale when a creative workshop was held.
The Yeo Valley children’s book group, which meets in the village hall, enjoyed the story of Hans Christian Andersen’s Swan Lake, which became The Ugly Swanling courtesy of author Michael Loader.
Mr Loader was joined by musicians Martin Soloman and Alison Francis-Black to tell the tale on March 20.
Children also enjoyed craft activities and musical games.
