Fairfield school clothes for a cause

UNWANTED clothing collected by parents, staff and children at a Backwell school will soon be winging its way to needy countries.

Staff at Fairfield School say ‘an enormous amount’ will be weighed and sorted for Clothes for a Cause, before being shipped to countries such as Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe.

School spokesman Netta Shore said: “This is the second year running we have done this and it has proved an even bigger success this year.”
