CHILDREN and staff at Tickenham Primary School have been making the most of a new classroom and office area.

For the past couple of months, builders have been at the Clevedon Road site creating a new room for pupils in years three and four, as well as a new headteacher’s office, entrance lobby and reception at the front of the school.

Now the work is complete, the pupils can enjoy lessons in a modern classroom rather than the temporary building that had been at the site before.

The project to create the new classroom follows on from a new hall that was built at the back of the school and was completed in September.

Also, as part of the project to revamp the school, the rest of the classrooms and offices will soon be redecorated.
