THE grounds of a Backwell school were explored by intrepid pupils as part of a nature-themed afternoon.
To conclude an indigenous species creative arts week at Fairfield School, three activities were put on.
These were pond dipping and exploring the school conservation area, a scavenger hunt on the field and sketching flowers and trees around the grounds.
