Spotting firefighters and police officers at a primary school would normally be a case for alarm.
However, at St Peter’s Primary School in Portishead, fun and learning was on the agenda rather than tackling criminals or blazes. The emergency teams visited the children to talk them through how important it is to keep themselves safe.
While the emphasis was on education, PCSO Chea Scandrett showed the pupils what it is like to be on the wrong side of the law by showing them the inside of a riot van.
