Easter fun with beads and buns

CRAFTY children designed and decorated their own Easter eggs at a school in Nailsea.
Year one children from Golden Valley Primary School learned about famous jeweller Carl Faberge, then put their creative flair to work by making their own bejewelled eggs.
The youngsters used colourful beads, ribbons and pencils to create their own festive masterpieces.
Staff from Tesco, in Stock Way North, also visited as part of the supermarket chain’s Farm To Fork scheme.
Pupils learned about the ingredients used in hot cross buns and had the opportunity to smell the different spices used.

The Farm To Fork initiative is designed to enabled children to find out more about the food they eat.
