Easter bonnet creations

A TRADITIONAL Easter bonnet parade allowed pupils at a Portishead school to show off their creative skills.

Students at High Down Infant School celebrated the beginning of the chocolate eating season by decorating their homemade hats with flowers, chicks and eggs.

The parade around the playground followed a special Easter service on the last day of term.

Class teacher Gaynor Godden said: “The children loved all the Easter preparations and thoroughly enjoyed making bonnets for the parade.”
