ORGANISERS of a sponsored cycle ride, to raise funds to restore Backwell Junior School, are still looking for willing legs to join them.
The main event will be on July 1 when families or single riders can choose to cover half a mile, one mile, ten miles or any other distance with the aim of everyone arriving at The George pub at or before 4.45pm, to make the final leg of the journey to the school together.
Anyone fit enough to manage a two-day, 150-mile ride, starting at 8am on June 30 and cycling to Lyme Regis, staying in a youth hostel overnight and then back the next day, is asked to get in touch with organiser Richard Phillips on 07809 847392 or emailing richard@phillips123456.freeserve.co.uk
Sponsor money or donations can be made via the school’s Parent Pay system by logging onto www.parentpay.com
