n INTERNATIONAL women’s cricket stars visited budding cricketers during a primary school tournament in Nailsea.
Teams from schools across the district competed in the Primary Girls Kwik Cricket open final at Nailsea Cricket Club, hosted by North Somerset Council.
Two teams from High Down Junior School in Portishead and one from Crockerne Primary School in Pill won matches at the competition.
The girls were then able to pick up some tips from the current England captain Charlotte Edwards, international cricketer Heather Knight and former international player Caroline Atkins.
