A fire crew made an appearance at Yeo Moor Primary School in Clevedon this week.
The visit, to assist year one pupils’ learning about the Great Fire of London, saw the firemen talk to the children about the role of the fire brigade and teach them about fire safety.
The pupils also got to see a fire engine up close and practise stop, drop and roll - a technique used to teach children what to do in the event of clothes catching alight.
