Gordano School’s eighth annual exhibition night showcased the creative talents of its students.

A display of product design, electronics, resistant materials and graphic products kicked off the evening, with innovative lamps, garden furniture and storage units on show.

The exhibition was followed by a fashion show, carried out by pupils in years nine to 13.

A spokesman for the Portishead school said: “The evening was capped off with an awards ceremony, recognising students who have delivered exceptional work within each area of design and technology. It was a fantastic achievement by students who have worked incredibly hard all year.

“Thanks must go to all of the models who hot-footed it down the catwalk and looked amazing, the catering team who produced and served food during the exhibition and to all the members of staff who assisted with lighting, stage management and continued support.”
