MUCH-NEEDED funds have been raised for the RNLI by children in Nailsea.
Year one pupils at Golden Valley Primary School have been learning about beach safety as part of their class topic on holidays past and present.
Following a visit from a volunteer for the charity, the youngsters decided to fundraise by collecting loose change and managed to gather enough coins to cover an entire RNLI flag as well as 10 small paper ones made in class.
They have are pictured presenting the £124 to RNLI representatives Jon Yabsley and Reuben Enright.
