A LIVE action role play club from Nailsea is raising money to pay for a new tent for their otherworldly adventures.
The Nailsea School LARP Club has now attended five national events and also ran a workshop for 120 students during the school’s enrichment week.
The activity involves dressing up in costumes, taking on different characters and fighting for territory, trading goods, field craft, archery and making potions.
Members are trying to raise money for a new tent to use on trips and have so far been given funding from Nailsea Community Trust, COIN and Nailsea and Backwell Rotary Club.
The LARP club will be running a stall at the Nailsea Community Showcase on August 25 where people will be able to find out more about the hobby.
