Intrepid Clevedon sixth form students are stepping up to the gruelling challenge of the distinguished Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award.
The students have received rare acclamation for their team work, resilience and expedition excellence after a four-day trek in the stunning Brecon Beacons.
They have already supported local community groups through the voluntary section of the award.
The pupils have also learnt new talents and experiences through the skill and physical sections and travelled to locations such as Kenya, in support of the Mend the Gap charity.
Clevedon School is an outstanding academy that provides a range of excellent activities alongside studies.
Head of sixth form Mark Davies said: "Our Team Gold are doing brilliantly and making lifelong memories alongside learning some important lifelong skills of team work, resilience and expedition excellence."
